From such an early age Tyler Philo started his love for music playing the violin. He then went on to complete all grades in the instrument and at the age of 11 got accepted to the Royal School of Music. A quote from his Music teacher to his parents from then stated that "Music will always be in Tyler's Blood! He will never stop loving music".

He then went from playing the violin to getting his first set of decks at the age of 14 and that was it. Whilst trying to combine both instruments together his love for DJing and Music production got stronger. He played in venues through the UK and managed to hold down a residency in one of Belfast's leading venues playing alongside some of the UK most well established DJs from Radio One's Dave Pearce to a Host of Northern Ireland's Leading DJ/Producers such as Agnelli and Nelson, Micky Modelle and the man of the moment DJ MOG.

After attending the Keymix workshop hosted by Alice Ferguson (DJ Fergie's Mum) it then opened alot of doors to venues and contacts throughout the UK. From there he played at venues such as Enigma Super club in Carrickmacross, the infamous Met Arena in Armagh, Matrix in Dungannon aswell as Clubs in the UK Mainland such as Ikon in Leeds.

Momentum started to build around the North of Ireland and from this he managed to do a series of Guest Mixes on Northern Ireland Biggest Radio Station Cool FM.

It was from then that he decided to get into music production and after spending 3 days in the studio with Mog and Modelle he knew that it was the way he wanted to go. He wanted people to hear his music aswell as wanting to be able to showcase his music and genre to the world.

2010 is set to be Tyler Philo's biggest year with a host of remixes and own productions on the cards and working with one of Northern Ireland's Hottest Young Producers DJ Mog and his first remix on the Ego Record label going to No.2 in the DJ Download Top 100 aswell as being the No.1 best selling Progressive/Tribal Track for 6 weeks straight. He has also ended up the biggest selling Artist on the Ego Record Label to date.
